Our Founder

Gaëlle Lissade is the Founder and Creative Director of ALOUFA, a Haitian-Caribbean meal-prep company inspired by the vibrant flavors, warmth, and rhythm of Haitian home kitchens. A diplomat and global-affairs consultant by training, Gaëlle channels her deep love for Haiti into food — crafting meals that tell stories of resilience, belonging, and care.

Her culinary journey began as an act of nostalgia and evolved into a mission: to make authentic, nourishing, and time-friendly Haitian dishes accessible to modern families and professionals. Through ALOUFA, Gaëlle celebrates Haiti’s culinary legacy while creating opportunities for connection — at the dinner table and beyond.

Her vision extends beyond cuisine: each meal represents a bridge between culture and community, empowering women, honoring tradition, and sharing Haiti’s beauty with the world.

Our Meals

Every ALOUFA meal is a story told through flavor — handcrafted with locally sourced ingredients, inspired by Afro-Caribbean traditions, and designed for today’s lifestyle. From Epis-Lime White Fish to Haitian-Style Meatballs and Roasted Plantains, each dish delivers home-cooked comfort in minutes, ready for the oven or air fryer.

Balanced, wholesome, and intentionally prepared, ALOUFA’s meals are built on love, heritage, and purpose. Ten percent of proceeds support programs for women and children in Haiti — nourishing not only those who eat, but those who inspire every recipe.
